(Denver) – House Democrats completed their leadership team today, electing Rep. Dickey Lee Hullinghorst as caucus whip and Rep. Dan Pabon as deputy whip.

Rep. Hullinghorst (D-Boulder) had been deputy whip and was unopposed for the whip position, which was open because Rep. Claire Levy was appointed on Nov. 18 to the Joint Budget Committee.

In a contest to fill the deputy whip spot, Rep. Pabon (D-Denver) defeated another freshman, Crisanta Duran (D-Denver), and Rep. Max Tyler (D-Golden).

“It’s a great team,” said Democratic Leader Mark Ferrandino. “I’m happy to have a strong crop of leaders behind me as we push for common-sense solutions that will move Colorado forward.”
