(June 23) – Majority Leader Crisanta Duran has been elected to the board of directors of the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials.

Rep. Duran, D-Denver, was one of seven board members elected on June 20 in Las Vegas, where 1,200 Latino policymakers had gathered for the group’s 32nd annual conference.

“I’m honored to serve this organization, which is dedicated to helping Latino elected officials develop the leadership and governance skills they need to empower the Latino community,” Rep. Duran said.
