(April 19) – Rep. Tracy Kraft-Tharp won preliminary House approval tonight for her bill to continue a successful business development program to help Colorado companies enter the export market.

HB18-1135, sponsored by Reps. Kraft-Tharp, D-Arvada, and Jim Wilson, R-Salida, continues the advanced industries export program, which provides support by the state Office of Economic Development and International Trade to Colorado companies looking to sell their products or services abroad. The program, begun by Rep. Kraft-Tharp in 2013, has triggered $30 million in past or projected sales and has boosted Colorado companies across the state.

“This program helps our advanced industries here in Colorado to move to the next level,” Rep. Kraft-Tharp told the House. “We want to export our products, not our jobs.”
