Rep. Roberts Appointed to Capital Development Committee

Roberts Set to Chair the Committee

(Nov. 19) – Speaker-designate KC Becker, D-Boulder appointed Rep. Dylan Roberts to the Capital Development Committee (CDC), a joint House-Senate panel that reviews funding requests for capital projects across the state. Roberts was elected chair of the committee by his colleagues this morning.

“I am honored to have been named to this important committee that provides vital services to important projects that improve education, environmental protection, and much more.” said Rep. Roberts, D-Avon. “I look forward to representing the communities in Eagle and Routt Counties and all of Western Colorado when we review and approve these requests.”

The CDC committee is responsible for reviewing funding requests for capital projects from all state agencies, and making recommendations to the Joint Budget Committee.

Rep. Roberts is entering his second term as State Representative for Eagle and Routt Counties. During his time at the Capitol, he has worked to lower health insurance costs, increase transparency in prescription drug pricing, supporting public education, affordable housing and the protection of public lands and water.
