Judy Amabile

Judy Amabile was elected to represent Coloradans in House District 13, which includes the western part of Boulder County, as well as Clear Creek, Gilpin, and Larimer Counties.Â
Rep. Amabile is a lifelong Democrat who has lived in Colorado for almost 50 years. She is a mother of three adult sons. For 25 years, she served as the founder and operator of Polar Bottle, maker of the first-ever insulated, BPA-free sports bottle manufactured exclusively in the USA. Â
As a legislator, Rep. Amabile is working on bold solutions to fighting climate change, increasing economic justice for all Coloradans, and improving access to mental health resources in our state. She has passed numerous pieces of legislation that aim to help mitigate wildfire damage and aid Coloradans wildfire victims. She chairs the Business Affairs & Labor and Legislative Oversight Committee Concerning Colorado Jail Standards committees and sits on the Judiciary and Appropriations committees.
