Julia Marvin

Representative Julia Marvin serves House District 31, which comprises the southern portion of Thornton. She holds degrees in news broadcasting and political science from the University of Colorado Boulder and has over a decade of experience in marketing and communications. In 2019,  Julia earned a seat on the Thornton City Council.


She spent her term emphasizing the importance of community engagement and a thoughtful approach to growth, ensuring that all residents are taken care of, looked out for, and included. She was appointed in January 2024 to represent HD 31 and serves on the Agriculture, Water & Natural Resources House Committee.
