Ruby Dickson

State Representative Ruby Dickson is entering her first term in the Colorado House. She represents District 37, which is comprised of Greenwood Village, central Centennial, and unincorporated Arapahoe County. She serves on the committees for Energy & Environment and Transport, Housing, & Local Government.
Rep. Dickson brings her experience as a professional economist to the state house. She holds a graduate degree in Economics from the University of Oxford, and a BA in Economics and Mandarin Chinese from Lawrence University. In the legislature, she will focus on finding policies that strengthen our economy, while protecting our rights and keeping our land, air, and water clean.
Dickson grew up in Colorado in a family that highly valued community service, and she has been politically active her entire life. She lives in Arapahoe County with her partner Steve. When not working in the legislature, she advises philanthropic foundations on charitable efforts concerning poverty, public health, and climate change.
