Said Sharbini

Said is the child of a military veteran and understands the call to serve the community. He graduated with a Bachelor's in Criminology from Florida State University.Â
He then went on to obtain his Law Degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. Said is a former Colorado State Public Defender. After leaving the Public Defenders, he has maintained a solo practice for some time. He practices Criminal and Family Law. Said believes in helping his community, and has helped countless organizations seek justice and fairness for people.
Rep. Sharbini was elected in 2022 to serve House District 31. He serves on the Judiciary and State, Civic, Military, & Veterans Affairs committees during the legislative session and chairs the year round Statutory Revision Committee. As an attorney, Rep. Sharbini is very passionate about criminal justice reform and is fighting to create effective alternatives to incarceration to prevent cycles of imprisonment and poverty. He is also committed to increasing housing opportunities for Coloradans of every budget, improving Colorado’s education system, and protecting reproductive rights.
