DENVER, CO - Representative Tisha Mauro, D-Pueblo, today released the following statement on the first meeting of the Wildfire Matters Review Committee:
“As a member of the Wildfire Matters Review Committee, it was great to hear from the Colorado Fire Commission and our state agencies to discuss wildfire issues across our state. Wildfires are a very real and dangerous threat in Colorado, and I know it is top-of-mind for Puebloans as the Oak Ridge Fire continues to spread. On the Wildfire Matters Review Committee this summer, I look forward to crafting policies to reduce our wildfire risk and ensure our communities have the resources they need to stay safe.”
