Mauro Wraps Up Second Wildfire Matters Interim Committee Meeting

DENVER, CO - Representative Tisha Mauro, D-Pueblo, today released the following statement on the second meeting of the Wildfire Matters Review Committee:

“Keeping our communities safe from wildfire destruction starts with expanded mitigation efforts and education. I’m grateful to the forest service professionals we heard from today,  who play a critical role in maintaining healthy forests and ultimately preventing the spread of wildfires. 

“As our committee continues to meet with industry leaders and state agencies, I look forward to crafting policies with my colleagues that will reduce wildfire risk in all four corners of our state.”
