Speaker McCluskie Announces Committee Assignments

DENVER, CO – Speaker Julie McCluskie today announced committee appointments for the second regular session of the 75th General Assembly. The appointments were necessitated in part by the resignation of Representative William Lindstedt, who was appointed to serve in the state Senate.

“Colorado Democrats are focused on growing our economy and driving down costs for hardworking families,” said Speaker Julie McCluskie, D-Dillon. “Lawmakers, and their respective committees, refine critical legislation that will help us make housing more affordable, lower the cost of health care, protect our environment, and equip Coloradans with the tools they need to thrive. With new committee assignments in hand, we’re ready to begin our legislative session next week together and foster a stronger, safer and more affordable Colorado for all.”
